It provides daily, nourishing meals in a pleasant, friendly setting designed to alleviate physical hunger and provide an encouraging and supportive environment to enable hope.

The Rotary Club is a community service organization comprised of local business professionals. The local Rotary club aims to connect people who work together to solve community problems, provide humanitarian aid, and promote goodwill and peace.

Oconee Regional Humane Society

 

We are dedicated to bringing people and adoptable animals together for lifelong relationships through rescue and adoption. We are committed to reducing animal overpopulation in our community through public outreach and low/no cost spay/neuter programs.

Friends of Lake Keowee Society (FOLKS)

 

This group works to preserve, protect and enhance Lake Keowee and its watershed through advocacy, conservation, and education.

BabyRead

 

BabyRead is a free program for Oconee County families with babies and toddlers up to three years old. The program provides free hardboard books, healthy snacks, and age-appropriate magazines. We encourage and support families/caregivers in reading to their babies and toddlers and discuss the importance of reading to children daily.

Ripple of One

 

Ripple of One is focused on supporting families and young adults to move beyond the need for public assistance. We provide education, mentoring, and incentives to support the journey to financial independence, eliminating the need for public assistance. Our vision is to transform poverty into generational success one client at a time.
